Will/Is Atom IDE registered on the Ubuntu Software Centre?

I think that it would be very convenient to have it on there, which would make it smaller of a problem for people that are new to Linux would make it easier to install on their computer.

If so that would be great! Thanks.

I don’t know what is required for that to happen, but the Atom team would like to eventually be able to make Atom available on the Ubuntu PPA:

I found this:

So I think would be easy, for even a large dev team to add to it. So I possibly see it in the future.
