Atom is a great text editor. It is so flexible, with the init script, and with the style file. However, I don’t like how Atom is being abandoned. VSCode is improving every day. it has a builtin terminal (atom’s one is buggy), a great debugger, great extensions. I feel like Atom is for HTML/XML.
What do you think?

Oh no. I am just learning HTML, and I download HTML. Should I change?
No. Stick with Atom. It is fine for HTML and many other languages. Just takes time to understand the pros and cons (not “buggy”).
And process-palette
is the Swiss Army Knife for running custom commands (processes). There might be issues to understand in using script
as terminal.
