Very flat curly braces on Ubuntu

Couldn’t find anyone complaining about this so far but for me it’s quite annoying.
The curly braces on my Atom installation on Ubuntu are very flat an can easily be confused with the normal parenthesis, at least if they are not next to each other.
I don’t know if it’s just the font on my system or the overall font used by atom on Linux.

Hmm thanks for the answer. I’ve already read that post before and added -webkit-font-smoothing: subpixel-antialiased; to my style.less file. In my case it doesn’t have any kind of effect at all.

If it’s not the same font as you use in Sublime Text, just change to the same font?

Ok after building Atom for Ubuntu manually I’m now on v. 0.120.0 and changing the font to Source Code Pro seems to work. Didn’t work on v. 0.116.0 though.

It just looks so much better now…
