Version X.X.X.X is the latest version

Hey all!

Just checked the release notes to find a new version of Atom came out (huzzah) so I rush to Atom and click check for update and it tells me that 0.181.0 is the latest version… Is this a fault on my end?

Could you give the following information?

  • What OS and version are you running?
  • How did you install Atom initially?
  • Can you reproduce the issue after completely exiting Atom and restarting using atom --safe?

OS: Windows 7
Install method: Windows Installer

I have no experience with the Atom Shell and haven’t had much time to learn the syntax.

However, it finally has updated! I’m guessing some network lag but it’s all sorted now  Thank you for replying!

There have been a few instances of the updater taking a few hours or even days to recognize the newer version.
Not sure if anyone knows why that happens…

So v183 has been out for over 2 days, and v184 for almost as long.
My Atom still thinks v182 is the latest version (after a search of over 20 minutes, it eventually gives me that popup message).
