VBA in Atom?

#1

Hi,

Brand new to Atom and was wondering if I can use it to edit VBA? I’m used to using Notepad++ for this purpose; came across that last year and found it handy for editing both VBA and M language when coding within Get and Transform in Excel. It highlighted comments in various colours and any errors in something useful like red.

Just joined a new company and when I asked if I could install Notepad++ I was referred to Atom.

Thank you

Craig

Atom can be used to edit any sort of text file, of course. Language-specific settings for languages that are not ubiquitous (like HTML, JS, and C) can be found in language packages through the search bar on the Packages tab on the website and the Settings -> Install view inside Atom.
