Using Atom with Transmit... (And Git-Plus)

#1

Hi everybody!
I’ve been trying to commit some files with Atom with a disk mounted with Transmit, but I keep getting this error and I have no idea how to fix it.
Anyone have any ideas?

“Git-Plus
error: file write error (Input/output error)
fatal: unable to write sha1 file”

did u try to run the git command in console to see if is working?

#3

I’m going to be honest and tell you that I have no idea how I do this.

#4

in what OS u are? (Mac, Windows, Linux)

#5

I’m on mac.

#6

Ok. Open a terminal and navigate to the folder of ur project when u stay there try to run this command: git status

With that command u will see what files are modified or if all is already update (no needs commits) or if even is ur project is a git repository.

If the git status return all things expected u can run this command: git add .
With the dot in the end to add all ur files for a commit and after that u will execute the commit command: git commit -m “Here go the message for ur commit”

I’m afraid I get the same error when I try to add.

“error: file write error (Input/output error)
fatal: unable to write sha1 file”
