Use of V8 JavaScript compilation cache

#1

Hi, reading this:

it seems that V8 has a mechanism for caching JavaScript compiled code, avoiding in some cases a new compilation process.

We are going to develop an Electron app that mainly will be a viewer of a remote web application accessible from a pre-configured URL.

Do you know how to check (in the Development Tools Window or other) if the Electron app are using the above JavaScript compilation cache feature when it loads the remote web application?

Do you know if it is possible to force of to configure an aggressive strategy for using the JavaScript compilation cache feature?

Thanks in advance

P.S. Don’t confuse the “JavaScript compilation cache” with the normal resource cache used for storing JS, CSS, etc.
