Upgrading all installed packages

#1

It’s my understanding that apm upgrade is supposed to update all installed packages. Correct?
I noticed that for instance the language-javascript package is listed as v0.20.0 on atom.io, but after manually running apm upgrade, I’ve still got v0.18.0.

Let me know if you need any more info.

You can manually upgrade built-in packages if you don’t want to wait a new version of Atom with the updated packages. Just remember uninstall the packages if Atom has a newer version.

apm install language-javascript@0.20.0

It was as I “feared” then, that apm upgrade only upgrades non-bundled packages.
Thanks for clarifying!
