Update Package Dependencies

Trying out Atom again after a long absence. I was going to check for updates to my installed packages and so I hit Cmd-Shift-P and hit ‘Update Package Dependencies’ without thinking. I was working out of a project folder (that wasn’t an atom package project, but did have a package.json). What, if anything, would running this command do to the directory I was working out of, or the system as a whole? This is a noob question, I know.

If anything, it would execute apm update in the project directory. This would also potentially execute npm update. So your Node modules might get updated to their latest versions, respecting semver.
