Unknown string appears in console window

#1

When I turn on atom using git bash, unknown string is printed.

Also, when I execute the above simple javascript code through packages(sciprt(rgbkrk)),
an unknown string is printed.

Previously, I linked my local git repository to github, and the uninstall some folder that combined js or html file edited by atom using unlocker. I do not know if this was a problem.

I used Korea window, but atom is all english. I don’t put any korea world in my code.

I want to fix it but I could not find solution. How can I fix it?

How could anybody answer a question that provides so little detail. You should, at the very least, provide a Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example of the code producing that output.

#3

What language are you using on your computer?

#4

sorry. I will add more details.

#5

I used window(korean).
It worked well, but it was broken at some point.

#6

The screenshots look like you get funny text when you launch Atom from the command line. Can you try with atom --safe? I don’t know if it’ll make a difference, but it’s worth trying.

#7

Same problem occurs. I think this phenomenon related with git or npm

#8

I don’t know what’s wrong with the MinGW terminal, but the script package is having a problem with the Korean characters because it doesn’t encode the text internally as Unicode so the non-Latin characters are getting lost.
