Uninstall Atom on Windows 10?

Can anyone tell me how to uninstall atom from my Windows 10 computer please?

Press ‘Start’ + R
Type: ‘appwiz.cpl’ and press 'enter’
Press ‘ctrl’ + F
Type: ‘atom’ and press 'enter’
Press down arrow and select 'atom’
Click ‘uninstall’ and follow the uninstallation procedure.

It doesn’t show atom the only place it has it is on my start menu for some reason? I tried to uninstall it from there already. Any registry keys you know of I can remove that belong to atom?

you could try deleting the following: C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\GitHub, Inc\Atom

I uninstall and again reinstall but I am getting the old version of the atom. The changes I have made in last one is also present in new one.

Your configurations are stored in the .atom/ folder in your user directory and aren’t affected by uninstalling the program.

Thank you… I deleted that and now it’s working
