Unable to delete accidental git repo from project

#1

I accidentally added an additional git repo to my project (when into the git tab while I had a file open not from my project, set up a repo without thinking), which is already set up with git. However, when I attempt to delete the repository root, atom informs me that I can not delete the root directory.

Is there some way around this issue? I really don’t need a repo inside a repo for my project haha. It would be nice to remove it.

Any ideas?

Problem solved; it never existed to begin with.
