Trying to change Syntax color manually

#1

I know about this syntax for use in styles.less:

atom-text-editor {
.syntax-- #AREA IN QUESTION# {
color: cyan;
}
}

but I want to change the text in “#AREA IN QUESTION#” it so it changes the syntax color for CSS modifiers.
For example :

.tagline {
background-color: orange;
}

In the code above I want to make it so I can set the color for the syntax: “background-color:” in CSS code

Try this:

.syntax-css .syntax--property-name {
    background-color: orange !important;
}
