Trouble installing packages on Fedora 21

I am unable to install any packages in Atom. I have another machine that I installed Fedora and Atom on concurrently, and have no issues there. I am unable to find the differences between the machines. I have deleted all of the atom config files and folders I can find and tried re-installing. Here is the error message that I am getting.

Found the partial solution here. My issue was a permission issue, but the folder was at /usr/share/atom/ instead of /usr/local/share/atom.

The command I used to fix the issue was

sudo chown -R `whoami`:`whoami` /usr/share/atom/
