Tree View Add File Keymap

I added the following to my keymap:

  'ctrl-alt-n': 'tree-view:add-file'

I’ve verified using Ctrl + . that Atom does recognize the binding, but it does not execute the add file command. I’d appreciate help in sorting this out.

When you say it recognizes the binding, is it in green with a check mark, gray with a check mark, or gray with an X?

It is a green check mark followed by tree-view:add-file body /home/ari/.atom/keymap.cson

Atom commands are often built assuming that they’ll be called in a certain context, so just moving the keybinding to a wider scope doesn’t always work. If you want this to work, you’ll have to change the code of the tree-view package to handle being called in this way.
