Thunderlink (specific URL prefixes)

#1

I would like to detect Thunderlinks (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/thunderbird/addon/thunderlink/), that is, URLs starting with thunderlink:// rather than http:// or ftp:// in such a way that I can click on them from a text file in Atom and call the browser to open them.

I installed hyperclick and path-hyperclick packages, but no luck to try to recognize the thunderlink:// prefix, like for example in thunderlink://messageid=007f01cecef8$a82129c0$f8688d40$@somebody@domain.com.

Is there any way to do this?

Thank you very much in advance.

You may have to write your own code to accomplish it, but it’s definitely possible. You can look at hyperclick as an example.

Thank you very much. You mean modify the index.js file of hyperclick? It is a bit strange, as it seems that all the code is in a single line. I am new to both Atom and hyperclick, so any idea or guidance is appreciated.

Thank you.

Take a look at the readme for hyperclick. It doesn’t just highlight links, it makes the functionality available for other packages. The *-hyperclick packages just tell hyperclick what to highlight and what to do when the text is clicked on.
