Theme based on the main page of atom.io

Hi All,

It is my first post here. Upfront, my apologies if I am breaking some rules, but I need some insight from people more knowledgeable than me. If this is the wrong place to ask this question please let me know.

I love the look of the Atom’s main page (https://atom.io/)! The color pallet, fonts, etc. The aesthetics speak to me
I thought I would be able to find something based on this look in the Atom themes. Till today I was not able to.

This is my question, do you know the name of the theme that looks similar to the look https://atom.io/ ?

I truly appreciate your help with this issue!

Best regards,
Chris

I don’t know the answer. But usually you can do detective work on any site by “view source” and/or Developer Tools.

For example study “stylesheet” link. In there are links to svg and font assets.

Incidentally while I was viewing the main Atom page I noticed links at the very bottom. “Keep in touch”. I have added the RSS link to my news aggregator LifeRea. So that is a useful spinoff. This keeps track of packages and themes as live news.

Hi d_l,

I appreciate the answer.

  1. Yap, as you suggested, if nobody has made it already, I will probably reverse engineer the theme myself. I do not want to reinvent the wheel.
  2. I am not sure if I got you correctly. “Keep in touch” is useful for knowing about new packages and themes, but I have hoped that the themes for UI & syntax is already done by someone.

  1. On the tangent, there is a theme: https://atom.io/themes/atom-io-ui
I think we would all agree it looks nothing like the current version of the: https://atom.io/
…or I don’t know how to use this theme properly

Once again, I am grateful for your response.

Just looking at “view source” and searching “theme” suggests “dark-theme” … but that is just a clue I pick up. I have not found where the aciual site theme is defined … perhaps in Flight Manual. I did pick up links to the assets.

Meanwhile more themes here to study.
