Terminal instantly closes after compiling

Hi everyone, faced an all known problem with console compiling. Terminal opens and closes instantly after compiling a C++ code, is there any way to prevent it ? Or may be i could change settings or add some scripts ?

By default, i’m using gpp compiler package. Thanks for help !

There are several issues open that address this behaviour. If none is fitting, posting a new issue on GitHub is probably more straight-forward than asking here.

Alternatively, consider using a build package that supports console-panel (or similar.)
