SublimeText "notify_on_save" equivalent

#1

I have a project file created for SublimeText3 to allow me to write LiveCode code. I’m trying to port it to Atom, but I don’t see any event names similar to the ones in ST3. Here is the sublime-project file:

{
“folders”:
[
{
“folder_exclude_patterns”:
[
“builds”
],
“path”: “app/”,
“name”: “myProjectName”,
}
],
“livecode”:
{
“notify_on_save”: true,
“notify_server”:
{
“host”: “localhost”,
“port”: 61373,
“debug”: false
}
}
}

Atom does not have a feature like what you’re thinking about and I don’t know of a package that does. What information is the notification sending to the server?

#3

It is telling the server that the file was changed so the server will reload it.

If you can find out the actual contents of the HTTP request, it wouldn’t be too hard to make a package for Atom that can do the same thing using Node’s http module.
