Styles.less precedence

#1

Why won’t my Styles.less file take precedence over the installed theme I’m using (One Light, in case that’s important)?

I can get style changes to take by tacking “!important” at the end of each rule in my Styles.less file, but I’d prefer not to do it that way.

Incidentally, I inspected the using Dev Tools and discovered my Styles.less is tagged with priority=“2” while the theme style has priority=“1”. I don’t know if that makes a difference or how to change it if it does.

CSS has built-in rules for precedence. See http://specificity.keegan.st/
