Something goes wrong with my own package.json

#1

It’s my first time to develop an Atom package, and I find that my package doesn’t work well.
My package.json changes into

after publishing.
What may cause this?

What command did you use to publish your Atom package? Where is that package.json that you’re showing coming from? I checked your repository at https://github.com/Reedo0910/atom-simplified-chinese-menu and it looked fine.

Thanks for your reply.

I published it with apm publish minor or apm publish patch. And that package.json came from its directory in USER\.atom\packages

I have published it on https://atom.io/packages/atom-simplified-chinese-menu, would you mind to download it and have a look?

Thanks again.

Yes, Atom adds extra information to the local copy of the package.json when a package is installed. This is perfectly normal. It adds that information for package bookkeeping purposes.

I see, thank you so much.
