[Solved] Apm login error

#1

Hi.

I get an error when I try to execute apm login and provide the API key

Token> xxx
Saving token to Keychain ✓
** Message: Remote error from secret service: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files

(node:10393) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Unhandled promise rejection. This error originated either by throwing inside of an async function without a catch block, or by rejecting a promise which was not handled with .catch(). (rejection id: 1)

(node:10393) [DEP0018] DeprecationWarning: Unhandled promise rejections are deprecated. In the future, promise rejections that are not handled will terminate the Node.js process with a non-zero exit code.

This is the apm --version output:

[abc@xmo]: ~/prog/atom/eastend-ui>$ apm --version
(node:10483) [DEP0022] DeprecationWarning: os.tmpDir() is deprecated. Use os.tmpdir() instead.
apm 1.19.0
npm 5.6.0
node 9.5.0 x64
atom 1.24.0
python 2.7.14
git 2.16.2

I am using Archlinux

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

#2

It would maybe also helpful to know for me, is

apm login

or

apm publish

working for other Linux user?

Any feedback appreciated

#3

After exporting this parameter publishing works now.

export ATOM_ACCESS_TOKEN=__MkTW...

The secret service message is still there though.
