Snippets no longer working

Hi, I am new user and new to programming. When I first started using Atom I was able to see the advanced panels to the left and right of the editor. I was able to use snippets as well. When I would type a HTML tag, ie Table it would auto generate the tags in the editor. That does not happen and I cannot figure out how that behavior is controlled.

Appreciate the help.

Hmm not sure what you mean? Do you mean the tree view that shows your project files and directories on the left side? What was on the right side?

The HTML snippets should be available if you’re editing a .html file (or if you select HTML using Grammar Selector: Show from the command palette). Are you editing a .html file when the snippets aren’t available to you?

Also what version of Atom are you running (atom -v) and what operating system?
