Sidebar/filetree column resizing gets stuck

#1

Hi,
I run into a problem where the left sidebar won’t stop resizing once I try to resize it. The column just follows my mouse around, it doesn’t let go on mouse up. I’ve tried uninstalling and deleting my .atom directory, which works, but it comes back. Below are my installed packages, which are all up to date. Hoping it’s not a package conflict, that could take a while to diagnose.

Thanks!

Can you reproduce the problem in Safe Mode? To launch Safe Mode:

  1. Completely exit all instances of Atom
  2. Launch Atom with the command atom --safe

#3

In atom --safe mode there is no left sidebar at all.

#4

Are you using Nuclide?

#5

I am using Nuclide.

Update: I renamed the .atom directory to .atom_bak and reloaded my settings using sync-settings, which allows the sidebar to work now, so I can get some work done, but this has been a temporary fix in the past. If I need to reproduce symptoms I could probably restore the original .atom folder.

Thanks,
Gene

I would report the issue on the Nuclide repository so that they’re aware also.
