Scrollbars suddenly started showing up the whole time

#1

For my theme material-ui, I’ve decided to style the editor’s scrollbars. Currently, the only code I’m using to edit their styling is the following:

.scrollbars-visible-when-scrolling {

  /deep/ ::-webkit-scrollbar {
    width: 8px;
  }

  /deep/ ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb {
    background: #36474F;
    border-radius: 10px;
  }

}

Usually this should just make the scrollbars (that are only visible when scrolling) look different, am I right? But sadly, this also results in the scrollbars being shown the whole time. After removing the code, they start working like before and only show up when scrolling (I’m on OS X, by the way).

If you want, you can already test this out! Just download the code from the repo and activate the theme.

@simurai do you have any ideas?

I’ve opened up an issue for this, because it doesn’t seem to work (no matter what I’m trying).

Left a comment in the issue. I don’t think it’s possible (at the moment) without Atom implementing their own version of hiding scrollbars.
