Scrollbar styling in OS X

#1

Is there a way to style the scrollbars in OS X (i’m running 10.10.5). I’ve searched on the forums and found the code below, but all I end up with are the default scrollbars, and they look ugly in darker themes because of the light background.

.scrollbars-visible-always {
  /deep/ ::-webkit-scrollbar {
    width: 8px;
    height: 8px;
  }

  /deep/ ::-webkit-scrollbar-track,
  /deep/ ::-webkit-scrollbar-corner {
    background: rgba(127, 127, 127, 0.1);
  }

  /deep/ ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb {
    background: rgba(127, 127, 127, 0.2);
    border-radius: 5px;
    box-shadow: 0 0 1px rgba(127, 127, 127, 0.3) inset;
  }

  /deep/ ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb:hover {
    background: rgba(127, 127, 127, 0.3);
    border-radius: 5px;
    box-shadow: 0 0 1px rgba(127, 127, 127, 0.4) inset;
  }
}
