Running Atom with the script package and Python code, print shows odd output

#1

On my laptop in Atom, I run print(“Is 5 <= -2”, 5 <= -2)
and get:
Is 5 <= -2 False

On a lab of OS X desktops, I installed the same Atom version with script.
If I run the same line I get:
(‘Is 5 <= -2’, False)

Anyone have any ideas why they might be different?

#2

Is the laptop running a different version of Python? This is what I see in my Ubuntu VM with Python 3.5.2:

rsese@ubuntu:~$ python3
Python 3.5.2 (default, Nov 23 2017, 16:37:01)
[GCC 5.4.0 20160609] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> print("Is 5 <= -2", 5 <= -2)
Is 5 <= -2 False

Then with Python 2.7.12:

rsese@ubuntu:~$ python
Python 2.7.12 (default, Nov 20 2017, 18:23:56)
[GCC 5.4.0 20160609] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> print("Is 5 <= -2", 5 <= -2)
('Is 5 <= -2', False)
