Ruby Feature: Color method uses and variables?

I’m looking for a package for ruby that would be able to color method uses (the method definition is colored, but not their uses, which makes them somewhat camouflaged) as well as variables.

I tried using the css inspector to see if either of those could be isolated, but atom doesn’t identify them with anything particular (just as normal text, unlike comparison signs for example, which I can color change just fine).

My intent is just to make my code more readable to see when I’m using core library definitions, uncolored (e.g. .map, .to_s) and when I’m using my own definitions, colored.

Any ideas?

Can you identify a method use with regular expressions?
