What I like at Atom is that I can close it at any time and nothing gets lost. But if I open Atom by a Atom linked File, my previous project (project folders, open files) is gone and Atom opens only the File. How can I avoid that?
Atom remembers open files and other state information based on the paths of the project folders. So if you go back and open the first folder again, you’ll get everything back. The easiest way to get back to old projects is the
File -> Reopen Project menu option, and you can set up a project management package to save your projects and quickly get back to them. I prefer (and have contributed to)
project-viewer, but you should look at different ones and see which one best fits your workflow.
´Thank you, your answer helped me a lot.
