Remote FTP - whitespace in path causing issues with files

#1

I have encountered something new and I’m not sure why or how to fix it.

I have an .ftpconfig script for remote-ftp and in the path there’s a folder with a space in its name so I escaped it with 2 back-slashes in order for it to get to the right folder: “/public_html/folder/folder/Space\ Name/”

This connects and displays the correct folder in the remote window, however, if I do anything with a file I get this error “Remote FTP: Error: Prohibited file name: /public_html/folder/folder/Space\ Name/index.php”

google search has not yet yielded up a fix for this. Does anyone else have this issue or know of a fix?

I’m running MacOS Sierra (10.12.6) and the latest version of Atom and Remote-FTP.
