Regex highlighting issue when starting with = in ruby

When writing code like the following in .rb files
test = "test" if "hello=world" =~ /=world/
The regex /=world/ is not highlighted , I think there is a conflict between /= operator.
while the /=world/ is highlighter.

Because of the above issue the code that follows the regex are highlighted as regex till another / character is encountered.
