Random broken packages: reinstallation needed

Today, I open Atom (on Windows 10) and I see that my js files are considered as plaintext.

I check my language-babel package and it seems broken.

First, I tried to reboot Atom and the computer, no results. So I try to uninstall and install it again, and everything is fine now.

Is the problem from Windows, the package or Atom?
I got the same problem several times with other packages, in the previous months.
As it happens randomly, I can’t reproduce.

I’ve had that happen to me, and I don’t know why it happens. When it does, I go to .atom/packages and delete the folder, then redownload it.
