Question on Debugging

Good Morning,
I had a few questions as I am faily new to debugging with Atom using C++.

Where does one add input while debugging? I am unable to step through and I feel that it is being stuck at waiting for input, but I am unable to find it.

I added screenshots to help show what I am trying to do.

Atom has no ability to debug C++, so you must be using a package. The best people to tell you how to do what you want will be the people who developed or use that package. We can point you where to go to find your answers, but first we need to know what the package is. (I’m not a C++ developer and I don’t have any personal experience with any of the C++ packages.)

I make the code I want to use into a comment. Then I assign it a test expression. When I am done testing I delete it and un-comment the code I actually want.
