Programming Arduino

#1

Is there any way to program Arduino from Atom like it is done in Sublime Text with Stino plug-in?

Or may be someone working on it’s possibility just now?

Interestingly there is actually a fork of atom by spark.io which integrates compiling and uploading code to an arduino board I think.
https://www.spark.io/dev and https://github.com/spark/spark-dev/

That’s weird. Why would they do that instead of creating a package?

Thanks for providing the link.

I’ve checked this so called Spark Dev IDE, seems like it works only with Spark cores, and there is no way to flash Arduino.

Hi, I’m new to Atom but I have great interest in it. I don’t have much experience programming packages, but couldn’t we use Gort To implement the uploading of firmware?

I really would like to see this feature in Atom, so any help towards the end would be greatly appreciated

Gort seems to be possible.

However, by now there appear to be atleast two packages if you want to build and upload programs to an Arduino platform via Atom:
