Problem with boostrap after npm package & install deb

#1

hello everybody!, firstly, my name is Juan, i’m starting to learn javascript and react.
I’ve just started to use electron in a project with react-redux and I’ve got a problem when I execute “npm package”.
In develop I see perfectly my app with boostrap layout, but when I doing “npm package” and install deb app, It is as boostrap isn’t exist. or in compliling process don’t take bootstrap at all. it only catches css styles but nothing about bootstrap.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks very much in advance!

I’m knida new to this, but my understanding is there are two dependencies sections in you package.json file. One for dev and one for prduction eg.

 "devDependencies": {
    "electron": "^1.4.7",
    "electron-packager": "^8.3.0",
    "gulp": "^3.9.1",
    "gulp-clean-css": "^2.0.13",
    "gulp-concat": "^2.6.1",
    "gulp-jshint": "^2.0.4",
    "gulp-less": "^3.3.0",
    "gulp-rename": "^1.2.2",
    "gulp-sass": "^2.3.2",
    "gulp-uglify": "^2.0.0"
  },
  "dependencies": {
    "bootstrap": "^3.3.7",
    "jquery": "^1.12.4",
  }

You need to have bootstrap in “dependencies” or it won’t get packaged and only be available during dev.

$ npm install --save boostrap

Hello, if you want your bootstrap to follow when packaging and building the app, yes! You need to have it under dependencies.
