I have some packages I’ve made local-changes to, and don’t want to override them when updated. Is there somewhere I can specify to not show updates for certain packages?
I don’t recommend this, but what you could do is increase the version number in your copy’s
package.json file to something astronomical like
999.0.0 - then Atom will always think it’s up to date.
Otherwise, there’s no proper way to pin versions.
Thank you, I appreciate it.
What I did on a package with a bug that the author wouldn’t fix was to fork it. I’m using the fork and I keep trying the real one to see if the problem is fixed. This is the “proper” way to do it.
