first of all I love Atom and the idea behind it, but sadly I can’t recommend Atom to my friends or co-worker’s because after installation you’ll notice instant that important signs (like: @ \ [ ] ) are not supported in Atom, because the German keyboard is not really full supported and the only way to fix this is by overwriting the key bindings by hand
I know Atom is not finished yet, I also read it is a Chromium bug and Atom team cannot do anything about it (dudes really, this is it?). The error reports on github relating to this issue dont get the attention they deserve. Because you know what? Atom is not usable out of the box for the rest of the world who has not an Us- keyboard layout.
