Pcloud drive and Atom weird behavior

#1

Using Atom on a project which is parked on a folder on a pCloud drive whenever I try to save the file the file seems to revert to previous save but the file itself is also appended with some weird characters not visible in Atom but visible in other editors (e.g. TextWrangler) as red ¿.

I’m using last stable version of Atom, pCloud Drive and macOS Fuse as suggested by pCloud staff. I’m on macOS High Sierra. Anybody has the same issue?

I’m having the same problem, did you ever figure out a solution? The file does get saved with the new changes, but onscreen Atom reverts to the file state before the edits.

Same issue for me too with latest Atom. Any solution?

It’s probably an issue with interacting with pCloud. This isn’t unusual–virtual drives mounted on your system like real ones that actually point to a remote server have been problematic for Atom for other people as well, so if that’s the case (I don’t know anything about pCloud), then you should try copying the folder you’re working on to your local machine, or use a cloud service that doesn’t just give you a virtual drive, but syncs all of your files to your computer, like Dropbox.
