PACKAGE: Atom doesn't see recently created package

#1

EDIT: This happens on Windows 8.1 x64 with Atom 0.125. Package creation works fine on Mac with Atom 0.125

So I had used Atom a while ago, and just created a package. I was following the ascii-art tutorial just to make sure I had the package.json setup correctly. For some reason, the command I added was available in the command palette and neither was the ascii convert command available when I downloaded that package and opened it. Any help would be much appreciated as I have no idea if a package has to be added now or if something has changed since I last made a few package a few months ago.

It is a known Windows issue since about 121 that after Atom creates the app folder, the link from your users folder to your app folder is not being created.

The easiest fix is to move your project to <user>/atom/packages. The harder fix is to creates a symbolic link (junction) from the user folder to your app folder.
