Overriding Syntax Theme

#1

I have the UI Theme One Dark and Syntax Theme Spacegray Dark. I’ve tried to override the color for invisible characters with my styles.less but the override doesn’t seem to work? The styles.less has some other additions that work fine, I’ve also confirmed that editing the Spacegray Dark color works as expected, so I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong?

.editor {
	.invisible-character {
		color: rgba(255, 0, 0, 0.8);
	}
}

Atom 1.0.19, Win 8.1x64

Thanks for that :smile: I tried searching prior to making the post and only came across posts suggesting I alter or fork the theme.

I got a notification for this while on Github, is the forum integrated with Chrome/Github/Atom or something? Was quite the surprise :slight_smile: But nice!

EDIT: Probably should have tried it before replying lol. The linked solution doesn’t appear to be working either?

atom-text-editor::shadow {
	.editor {
		.invisible-character {
			color: rgba(255, 0, 0, 0.8);
		}
	}
}

My bad, I can either remove .editor or remove atom-text-editor::shadow and use .editor::shadow instead.
