Whenever I type
atom /code/progcode/JavaFile.java or whatever–it just opens up atom with a new file called
JavaFile.java in the respective directory. However, I already have the file “JavaFile.java” created.
cd /code/progcode/ into the folder, then type
atom JavaFile.java, it opens the file for editing. I can’t seem to open files in directories unless I am already in the correct directory.
I’m running atom on Linux Mint 17–I compiled it myself.
