Newbe: how to create macro

#1

Hi,
I’m using Atom, just from a few days. Before that, I was using emacs,
for a particular topic (find on a .rtf file, some particular problem)
I’ve created a ‘elisp’ macro that answer to a particular button. I would do the same in Atom. Is it possible? And, if yes, how?

TIA

Renato

Atom doesn’t have a macro capability. You can write a script against its API to create a command and there are packages that you can create toolbars with buttons that call commands.

what do you mean with command? can it be like a macro?

No, Atom doesn’t have a macro capability.

It sounds like @renato07 is not very good at reading English and is having difficulty with the distinction between a command and a macro in the context of an editor.
