The problem it tries to solve is the same as the block-travel package. To travel more efficiently in code vertically. The approach is different though. space-block-jumper keeps the cursor at non-empty lines. It also has some tweaks like skipping the closest edge in the block you are travelling to.
There is selection support but the usage is a little quirky. The ‘select block’ command works great though imo.
The ideas section is sorted by priority right now. Feedback wanted!
Edit: For v0.4 I have now added another checkbox setting that should make the navigation completely the same as in the block-travel package.
