Multiline Lisp editing

#1

I cannot edit lisp text on multiple lines - when typing return to get from the first line to the next line lisp compiles to Error. Is there a command to go to a new line without ion error?

#2

Atom doesn’t compile code unless you’ve installed a community package which does so. In this case, the community package would have to provide the functionality you’re asking for. Do you know which package is displaying the error message?

Thank you!

I got:
Debugger

end of file on #
[Condition of type END-OF-FILE]

Restarts:

REMOVE-FD-HANDLER Remove #<SB-IMPL::HANDLER INPUT on descriptor 6: #<CLOSURE (LABELS SWANK/SBCL::RUN :IN SWANK/BACKEND:ADD-FD-HANDLER) {1005C1A28B}>>

I wanted this:
(if (= (+ 1 2) 3)
'yup
’nope)

MY PACKAGES:

Parinfer 1.16.0
atom-mac-terminal 1.0.4
atom-slime 2.5.2
language-lisp 0.2.0
(linter-slime-lint 0.3.1) disabled
lisp-paredit 0.5.4

I don’t write lisp and haven’t used most of those packages. Can you maybe disable them one at a time to see which one is causing the problem?
