I realize there are a few packages to take care of this, but I’ve had issues with the ones most mentioned on forums. I was curious if there ever might be a chance for Atom to directly support using GitHub to store the settings for package and settings, on a GitHub repo. Something with a super simple mechanism that automatically alerts the user if their Atom settings are outdated compared to their repo at GitHub.
