Made new package, can't install on Windows

I developed a package (language-kv1) to add language support for a new language. I’ve installed it on my Mac without problems, but when I go to install it on a Windows 10 machine, I get an error with node-gyp rebuild. This isn’t a new problem for Windows and other threads discuss this error, but all of the threads suggest the problem is with Windows, not the package. This being the first Atom package I’ve written, I suspect strongly there’s a problem with my package instead. Here’s the full error:

Do you know what might cause a package to throw this error, or if I can make my package not use node-gyp while installing? I’ve never heard of node-gyp before this error and didn’t know Atom was using it so I’m not sure how to get around it.
