Load package at startup

I tried “application:open”, “application:open-dev”, but that didn’t work. Any ideas?

Could you explain what you are trying to do in a little more detail?

I want to open a directory for editing based on user input and have my plugin do stuff (in the new window). I was mistaken in the post above- the plugin loads in that case. It does not load when Atom starts up (since it doesn’t load an application).
