Link accessibility

#1

Links in IDE (like link in package description or “report issue” button) should be more accessible:

  • show url on mouse over (like on a browser)
  • right-click on it should allow “copy url”

I suspect most if not all of this could be done with a theme?

Well, it could, but for showing tooltips it’s nicer to tie into the tooltip functionality used elsewhere. Also, the links and buttons are just elements with an on-click, so they would need to expose a url that can be copied. Tree-view has a bunch of features like that, but settings-view not so much. If you want stuff like this would be change request for the settings-view package.

Not sure, but I guess it should be possible to add a “copy url” to the context menu. Feel free to create an issue about it.
