I’m trying to write a LaTeX document in Atom, and I find that I need softwrapping for the paragraphs of text I have. I also have it wrap at a shorter length than normal, to improve readability of what I’m writing.
Unfortunately, this reduces the line length for tables. Reducing words per line does not improve readability here (quite the opposite actually, as it moves cells on the same row to different lines), so I often turn off soft wrapping when dealing with tables.
I would appreciate help on how to selectively change the soft wrap length within a file based on whether it is a table or normal text. The tables are scoped by the grammar package, so maybe a solution would involve the soft wrap value depending on if a particular scope is in a current line?
