Large file stuck in history; Atom crashes on start

#1

I mistakenly opened a bundled file with a few thousand lines, which crashed Atom. Now every time I open Atom, it crashes trying to open all the previous files including the bundle.

How do I reset this, or stop it from trying to open the file on start?

#2

Deleting the ~/.atom folder helped. Although, this should probably be handled in a more graceful way

#3

Starting Atom from the command line with atom --clear-window-state will wipe all state information (including unsaved files). This is covered in the Debugging section of the Flight Manual.
